METHOD OF CONVERTING GRAPHIC DATA

摘要

A method of converting graphic data wherein the drawing of a first format before being converted or a group of product data is converted into a group of basic element records consisting of basic graphic elements, dimensional line elements and text elements, an intermediate file is prepared by suitably inserting an editing section record and an editing record, and then the intermediate file is converted into a drawing of a second format or into a group of product data. The data of intermediate file are converted into elements of a structural form which are easy to understand. Therefore, a translator can be easily prepared contributing to enhancing the freedom for data conversion and efficiency.
