PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain a nonwoven fabric of homogeneous quality with a small loss in simple equipment, by laminating a fibrous material conveyed by a high-speed fluid into the form of a web while sucking the fibrous material on the inner peripheral surface of a suction support and continuously taking off the resultant web. CONSTITUTION:A suction device 8 is provided in a part to be jetted of a cylindrical support 7 and a fibrous material 2 is sucked and collected as a weblike material. The resultant weblike material is then hot-pressed with a heating roller 9 and pressed with press rollers 10 to form a cylindrical web 11, which is subsequently taken off with take-off nip rollers 12 and wound by a winding roll 13. Thereby, basis weight is readily changed, etc., without a small selvage loss. |
