<p>PURPOSE:To enable a self-propelling body to travel with high speed for efficient operation by providing removably a transferred article support having a pair of left and right supporting portions on the self-propelling body and a storage device between parallel sections on a certain path. CONSTITUTION:Self-propelling bodies 5 can travele on fixed paths 18 and have respectively a pair of removable front and rear transferred article supports 21A, 21B. A storage device 42 is provided between parallel sections of the fixed paths 18. Thus, the self-propelling body 5 is stopped to correspond to the leading end of a storage device 42 and transferred article supports 21A, 21B are unloaded from the self-propelling body 5 through an unloading device 44 to be delivered on the storage device 42. Thus, said supports can be trans ferred in the direction orthogonal to the fixed path, i.e. laterally to be stored. Hence, said articles can be stored compactly on the storage to shorten the storage line.</p> |
