<p>The present invention relates to a process for creating surfaces having self-lubricating properties on metals 1 by means of producing an outer layer which has a lubricating character and which is homogeneous with the original metal. According to the invention, the outer layer having a lubricating character is produced by the outer layer 3 being melted with high energy, e.g. laser 4, at the same time as at least one such metal, metal alloy or metal mixture 5 is supplied to the melt 6, with a metal composite being created which consists of mainly unchanged particles of the supplied material in a matrix of the remelted original metal. <IMAGE></p> |
