<p>PURPOSE:To more effectively use a tape by automatically measuring the actual recordable time of the tape and performing the editing operation based on this data. CONSTITUTION:A part of a CD player control part 23 is provided with an A and B face editing operation part 26, an A and B face editing music storage part 29, a recording time count part 50 which calculates the recordable time of one face, a tape length correction value storage part 51, and a CD recording control signal operation part 47 which decodes a tape end signal and an inversion stand-by signal. At the time of disk recording, running for recording is started and the time of tape feed at a certain speed is counted after program search of the tape, and the recordable time of the tape is calculated in accordance with the counted value for detection of the end of the tape, and the editing operation is performed based on this time. Thus, the tape is used more effectively.</p> |
