摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To facilitate renew of biological activated carbon by arranging arithmetic means, etc., for predicting service life of the biological activated carbon in each biological activated carbon treating vessel with detected output of water quality detecting means, etc., and evaluation output of absorptivity evaluating means. CONSTITUTION:The water quality detecting means 41 analyzes the water qualities in samples taken through a sampling port 37 at flow-in side and each sampling port 39 at flow-out side, respectively and the analyzed results are outputted. A biological activated carbon service life decision and prediction computing element 35 reads measured values F1-F3 with each water flow rate measuring means 29, measured value AN with the water quality detecting means 41 and evaluation value BN with the absorptivity evaluating means 45, and stable arithmetic calculation is executed to output the suitable adjusting value for controlling the water flow rate adjusting means 31. In posttreatment process 27, the posttreatment of ammonia nitrogen with pouring of chlorine into water to be treated and disinfection, etc., in the biological activated carbon treatment apparatus 25 are executed to make clean water.</p>
