PURPOSE:To decrease shock by decreasing the number of turbochargers in operation at the time when temperature of an engine is low, releasing limited number of the turbochargers in operation according to completion of engine warming up, and restraining the limitation release of the number of the turbochargers in operation at the time of light load of the engine. CONSTITUTION:The warming up condition of an engine is judged 81, an intake/ exhaust switching valve is closed 82 at the time of low temperature in the engine so as to limit the number of turbochargers in operation. The limitation of the number of the turbochargers in operation is released 85 according to the completion of engine warming up, and engine load is judged 84 so as to restrain limitation release 85 of the number of the turbochargers in operation. At the time of light load, since there is no large difference between the case of a reduced number of the turbochargers in operation and the case of releasing the limitation shock at the switching time of the turbocharger can be suppressed small. |
