<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a clear image with high resolution by providing a specific frequency superimposing section and a specific luminance signal recording section so as to reduce interference between channels. CONSTITUTION: In this circuit, a high frequency luminance signal is modulated by a superimposing carrier signal for superimposing a video signal of a full band width onto a limited band width. A frequency superimposing section 130 is made up of 1st and 2nd horizontal band-pass filters 131, 132, a control switch SW, a multiplexer 133, a 1st horizontal low-pass filter 134, and an adder 135, and contacts a, b of the control switch SW are connected respectively to output terminals of the 1st and 2nd horizontal band-pass filters 131, 132. A luminance signal recording section superimposes part of the high frequency signal to be superimposed for a field period onto part of a limited low frequency band width and the remaining high frequency signal is superimposed on the remaining area of the limited low frequency band width and the results are recorded on a recording medium. In the case of reproduction, the video image of all the bands is reproduced by band compensation.</p> |
