PURPOSE:To carry out terminal crimping of a crimping connector surely at a sufficient strength by sandwiching a leg part formed by a crimper with a claw part sandwiching member and whereby controlling the opening of the leg part. CONSTITUTION:A leg part 11 of a crimper 1, in which a crimping terminal inserting part C2 is inserted, is sandwiched by a claw part sandwiching member 3, and the opening of a claw part 11 is thereby controlled. A wire barrel A1 part of a crimping terminal A is encircled between the crimper 1 and an anvil 2 almost without any gap formed between them. The wire barrel A1 part can thus be crimped with considarably high pressure, and 70-90% of the compressibility can be attained for an electric wire W. The wire barrel A1 of a terminal A can thus be crimped on the conductor of the electric wire W surely and firmly. |
