PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of easily deciding a normal/defective condition of a polarizing plate due to the sticking positional precision of the polarizing plate in a short time. SOLUTION: When a pattern of a black matrix 3 constituting a color filter substrate 2 is formed, rectangular slits 5 formed on positive and negative limit positions of a normal range of the sticking standard of the polarizing plate and constituted of two pieces one set are formed simultaneously so as to surround the corner parts of the polarizing plate stuck to the color filter substrate 2, and after the polarizing plate is stuck, whether or not only one side of the slits 5 of two pieces one set is exposed from the polarizing plate is inspected visually or by an optical inspecting device. |
