PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool holder facilitating workability releasing tightening force relating to a cutting tool. SOLUTION: This tool holder is constituted by a holder main unit 1, collet 10, intermediate rod 15, clamp bolt 25 and a pull stud 30. The collet 10 and the intermediate rod 15 are integrally connected by a screw, the clamp bolt 25, by forwardly rotating it in a direction of arrow mark a, is pulled in the holder main unit 1 through the intermediate rod 15, a cutting tool 40 is adhesion held. Here, a head part 26 of the clamp bolt 25 is brought into press contact by surface friction with a step difference surface of the holder main unit 1, to be rotated. On the other hand, when tightening is released, when the clamp bolt 25 is rotated in reverse, it is rotated by rolling friction through a steel ball 6 inserted between the head part 26 of the clamp bolt 25 and a center hole 4 of the holder main unit 1, the collet 10 is extruded to the forward. |
