A hydraulic cylinder is provided to enhance cushion feeling and prevent inflow of oil into an inner periphery of a cushion ring by preventing an oil leakage from a cut part of a cushion seal. A hydraulic cylinder includes a cylinder(24), a rod(30), a cushion ring(50), and a cushion seal(60). The cylinder has a port(261) that a fluid goes in and out. A piston(40) reciprocates in the cylinder. The rod forms a passage(P1) together with the cylinder. The passage is connected to the port. The cushion ring is fitted with an outer periphery of the rod. The cushion seal is installed at the cylinder. The cushion seal that seals the passage as an inner periphery thereof is in contact with an outer periphery of the cushion ring. The hydraulic cylinder further includes a pair of extension units. The pair of extension units are individually extended in a circumferential direction from both ends of the cut cushion seal. |
