PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate trouble due to dew formation or frost generated between a cooling unit and a ceiling in a cooling storage cabinet by mounting a shielding plate for shielding an air flow between a top surface of a casing and a ceiling in the cabinet in the casing. SOLUTION: A cooling unit 2 for constituting a cooler is mounted on a lower surface of a top wall 1A to become a ceiling surface 3A in a cooling storage cabinet 3 of the cooling storage cabinet 1. The unit 2 has an evaporator 7 contained in a casing 4, a cooling fn 8, a dew receiving tray 9 mounted on a lower surface of a casing 4 clamped at a top plate 6 of the casing 4 with screws, and a defrosting electric heater or the like. A shielding plate 21 is interposed between a hanger 17 clamped at both ends of an air outlet 12 side of the plate 6 of the casing 4 and the plate 6, and clamped together with the hanger 17 by screws with the plate 6. Thus, troble of deforming to damage the casing 4 or the evaporator 7 can be prevented.
