<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized waveguide circuit for conversion in which a converter for impedance and a converter for the transmission direction of a radio wave are united without making an operating band narrow. <P>SOLUTION: One end of a cavity 6 having intermediate sectional area (intermediate impedance) between 1st and 2nd waveguides 4 and 5 which differ in impedance is connected to the 2nd waveguide 5 in the transmission direction of a radio wave, and the other end of the cavity 6 is connected so that an opening surface of the 1st waveguide 4 which formed in a direction crossing the transmission direction of the radio wave of the 1st waveguide and an opening surface of the cavity 6 which is formed in parallel to the transmission direction of the radio wave of 2nd waveguid 5 face each other. In addition, the opening area of the 1st waveguide 4 on the connected opening surface is made smaller than the sectional area of the 1st waveguide 4 to form capacitance on the opening surface, which cancels inductance generated by bending the transmission direction at the connection part, thereby eliminating mismatching of impedance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
