<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder suitable for tableting to produce a medicinal composition for regulating release which composition has good medicine content uniformity, to obtain a medicinal composition for regulating release which composition contains the powder, and to provide a process for producing the powder and a method for producing the medicinal composition for regulating release which composition contains the powder. <P>SOLUTION: Size-controlled particles comprising a medicine, polyethylene oxide having ≥2,000,000 molecular weight and a size-controlling agent (a substance having appropriate plasticizing properties and binding force) for the polyethylene oxide wherein at least the specific size-controlling agent is uniformly dispersed in the polyethylene oxide, a medicinal composition for regulating release which composition contains the particle size-controlling agent, and the method for producing the medicinal composition for regulating release, are provided. The medicinal composition for controlling release, which composition has good content uniformity, is provided by using a polyethylene oxide granule which has suitable powder properties for tableting and comprises the uniformly dispersed specific polyethylene oxide size-controlling agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
