GENE MARKER CONNECTED TO GENE LOCUS CONTROLLING COLOR OF STARCH LAYER AND ITS UTILIZATION

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gene marker existing in the genome DNA of a gramineous plant such as barley and connected to a gene locus controlling the color of starch layer, and to provide a method for utilizing the gene marker.

SOLUTION: The detailed chain map of barley was made, and a chain analysis was carried out. Thus, a group of gene markers connected to a gene locus controlling the color of starch layer and boarded on barley 4H chromosome were found.
