In order to enlarge the open area of an opening (21) while ensuring rigidity when the open/close door of a printing press (1) is closed, an open/close scaffold (40) capable of opening/closing the entirety of the opening (21) which opens to both an impression cylinder (5) and an intermediate cylinder (10) is provided as the open/close door, and a knee rest (50) for opening/closing a part of the opening (21) and capable of being closed while superimposing on the open/close scaffold (40) is also provided. When they are closed while being superimposed, strength can be enhanced at a part where the knee rest (50) is provided. Since the knee rest (50) can be opened/closed as required, the knee rest (50) is kept closed when a large opening (21) is not required, and the area of the opening (21) can be increased by opening the knee rest (50) when a large opening (21) is required. As a result, the open area of the opening (21) can be increased while rigidity when the open/close scaffold (40) as the open/close door is closed is ensured.
