摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To shorten the length of a paper transportation path by forming an inclined surface which turns toward the shaft center of an image carrier between a developing part and an electrostatic charging part and at the lower edge of a substrate provided on a vertical plane which is offset to the developing part side from the shaft center of the image carrier and arranging many light emitting elements along the longitudinal direction of the image carrier on the inclined surface. CONSTITUTION:In an exposing part 3, the substrate 3a is provided on the vertical plane which is offset to the developing part 4 side from the shaft center of the image carrier 1, and the inclined surface 3b which is inclined at the angle of theta and turns toward the shaft center of the image carrier 1 is formed at the lower edge of the substrate 3a, then many light emitting elements 3c are arranged on the inclined surface 3b along the longitudinal direction of the image carrier 1. Therefore, an electrostatic charging part 2 is opposed to the outer periphery of the upper part of the image carrier 1, so that the substrate 3a is positioned closer to the developing part 4 side than the vertical surface passing the shaft center of the image carrier 1 and the light is emitted from the light emitting element 3c toward the shaft center of the image carrier 1 along the inclined surface 3b even when the posture of the substrate 3a is made vertical. Thus, the mounting space of the substrate 3a between the electric charging part 3 and the developing part 4 is reduced and the length of the paper transportation path is shortened and the device is miniaturized.</p>
