PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device for parts feeder in which posture determination precision for a work may be highly maintained even in a case of a plurality of works having specific shape which is successively transported.SOLUTION: An image processing device for parts feeder is applied to parts feeder capable of being photographed with an area camera while transporting work W comprising a work main body W1 and an electrode W2 having different light reflection efficiency from the work main body W1, in which an embodiment is adopted where at least 2 surfaces Wf1, Wf1 adjacent each other are arranged at a position where they may be simultaneously photographed, the device comprises image obtaining means for obtaining image data and posture determining means for determining posture of the work W, end part W10a in longitudinal direction of the work main body W1 at a predetermined first region corresponding to either of 2 surfaces Wf1, Wf1 shown on the image data and predetermined second region corresponding to the other one on the basis of color element information in the first region and color element information in the second region to determine posture of the work W.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
