The method includes acquiring, by user equipment, first channel state information based on a first channel state information measurement resource that is configured by a base station and that corresponds to a first antenna port representing a horizontal dimension. The method also includes acquiring, based on a second channel state information measurement resource, which is configured by the base station, of a second antenna port representing a vertical dimension, second channel state information. The method also includes feeding back channel state information to the base station, which includes: feeding back the first channel state information to the base station according to a first feedback mode, and feeding back the second channel state information to the base station according to a second feedback mode, where the second feedback mode is different from the first feedback mode. |

A method for feeding back channel state information (CSI), comprising: acquiring, by user equipment (UE), first CSI based on a first CSI measurement resource configured by a base station, wherein the first CSI measurement resource corresponds to a first antenna port representing a horizontal dimension of an antenna array;
acquiring, by the UE, second CSI based on a second CSI measurement resource configured by the base station, wherein the second CSI measurement resource corresponds to a second antenna port representing a vertical dimension of the antenna array; and feeding back, by the UE, CSI to the base station, wherein feeding back the CSI comprises:
feeding back, by the user equipment, the first CSI to the base station according to a first feedback mode, and feeding back the second CSI to the base station according to a second feedback mode, wherein the second feedback mode is different from the first feedback mode; orfeeding back, by the user equipment, third CSI according to a third feedback mode, wherein the third CSI is obtained by the user equipment based on the first CSI and the second CSI. |
