PURPOSE:To enhance the density of light emitting bodies without lowering light emitting strength by providing a waveguide passage in which an adjacent waveguide span narrows more and more from the inlet of light to the outlet of light so that the length in the direction of array of light emitting bodies on the propagation side of light may be shortened. CONSTITUTION:A light converging section 3b is gradually reduced toward its tip in the array direction (width direction) of a LED and a direction (thick direction) orthogonal to the same direction. Similarly, the section 3b is rotated toward its tip and twisted at an angle of 90 degree against a light receiving section 3a at the tip 3c. More specifically, an internal wave guide passage 3d narrows gradually its span with its adjacent wave guide passages toward the tip where the array direction of an LED at the light receiving section 3a is orthogonal to the array direction of an LED at the tip 3c. In this case, the length of the array direction of the LED at the tip is shortened until it becomes identical to the length of a thick direction of the light receiving section 3a. As a result, when light propagates to the light converging section 3b, the length in the array direction of the LED on the wave guide side is gradually narrowed so that the light density may be enhanced substantially without lowering the strength of generation. |
