发明名称 PRODUCTION OF HIGH STRENGTH STEEL WIRE FOR USE IN SOUR ENVIRONMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To produce a high strength steel wire for use in sour environment excellent in hydrogen induced cracking resistance and sulfide stress corrosion cracking resistance by subjecting a steel having a composition containing specific percentages of C, Si, Mn, P, and S to cold working, spheroidizing anealing, and drawing under respectively specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:A steel which has a composition consisting of 0.40-0.70% C, 0.10-1% Si, 0.20-1% Mn, <=0.025% P, <=0.001% S, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities and containing, if necessary, 0.008-0.050% Al is subjected to patenting treatment. Subsequently, this steel is subjected to cold working at 25-75% reduction of area, to spheroidizing annealing at 500-700 deg.C, and to drawing at 5-15% reduction of area. By this method, the high strength steel wire usable in a wet hydrogen sulfide environment, excellent in dimension and shape, and having >= about 50kgf/mm<2> tensile strength can be obtained.
