In continuously operating apparatus for making laminated panels, comprising blocks sandwiched between adhesive-coated webs to the upper of which is applied a surface component, assemblies are forwarded on the conveyer 69 in which the surface component 12 for one assembly is placed beneath the other components 11, 13, 15, 16, of the following assembly and is moved forward in relation to the other components, and is finally placed, by stacking means at the end of the conveyer line, on the adhesive coated surface of the leading assembly. The relative movement may be effected by lowering an adjustable stop 200 to hold back the other components (the surface component taking up the position shown in dotted lines) or by accelerating the surface component by a separate, faster moving, section of the conveyer. |
