(A) a process for preparing substantially dry granules or microgranules of ammonium salts in which the neutralisation of gaseous ammonia with acid, the granulation and drying of the granules are carried out in a single stage and in the same reaction zone in presence of a fluid bed of granulated salt characterised that the acid is in the form of a line liquid dispersion and the ammonia is introduced in the immediate vicinity of the acid entry point in the reaction zone. (B) Reaction vessel for the continuous process (A). Single stage continuous process giving easy drying of granules. Products used in fertilisers. No external heat needed.
