<p>Apparatus for introducing fibre voice of low cohesive strength into a needling machine having a large number of needles of which are arranged side by side and one behind the other and are caused to move up and down and to penetrate through a perforated difluffer into the voile which passes between a pair of feed rolls and supplied by an endless belt and advanced onto a similarly perforated support, has a cover pref. consisting of bars placed parallel to each other and distributed across the width of the voile. These bars extend from just beyond the delivery end of the belt conveyor up to the zone of the first needles and pass between the defluffer and the perforated support, a feed assembly identical to the cover being provided to carry the voile if necessary.</p> |
