The active delay line consists of a chain of R.C. delay elements broken into groups by transistors acting as impendance converters and having alternate dopings (npn-pnp) in passing along the chain. The pnp input transistor has its emitter output coupled to the input of the first RC delay group. The first group output is copled to the base of an npn transistor whose emitter output is coupled to the input of the second RC delay group and so on to the output transistor. The output of each transistor is fed back to one of the capacitors in the preceeding RC delay group. There is an even number of transistors. |
