PURPOSE:To obtain a vegetable powder product useful as an additive for feed of fishes also effective for maintenance of water quality as main purpose, by heating powdered dried rice hulls at a specific temperature for a specific time, keeping warm and aging. CONSTITUTION:Nonglutinous rice harvested from the late of August to the late of October is threshed, rice hulls left after unpolished rice are collected, dried by a drying chamber at a standard temperature and preserved. Then, the rice hulls dried by the drying chamber are pulverized into a particle size of 100-20 meshes depending upon purpose of use by a grinder (flour mill) and made into semimanufactured goods. For example, in the case of ponds or rivers, the particle size is preferably about 100 meshes and in the case of additive for feed of fishes, the particle size is preferably about 200 meshes. Then, fine powder of the semimanufactured goods is stored in an electric furnace or a petroleum boiler, heated at 60-150 deg.C for 15-60 minutes, kept warm and aged to give the objective product. |
