PURPOSE:To attain satellite picture communication with a high transmission efficiency by employing a variable timer generated based on a basic timer in the unit of transmission of picture information and control information to be sent so as to apply polling to a high speed reception control circuit. CONSTITUTION:A reception history is received by a low speed reception control circuit 3 from a low speed transmission control circuit 4 by the transmission of a polling command to a high speed transmission control circuit 2 with a variable time (time not being a hindrance to transmission control processing of high speed transmission control circuit 1 for picture information and control information) generated based on a basic timer in the unit (in the unit of HDLC frame) of transmission of picture information and control information sent by the high speed transmission control circuit 1, and the high speed transmission control circuit 1 receives the history notice while sending picture information and control information continuously. Thus, the satellite picture communication with high transmission efficiency is attained without reception of effect due to satellite delay and high speed processing. |
