The pipe blocking valve, especially in a drinking water pipeline is used to prevent sucking back of dirty or waste water when the pressure becomes excessively high or low. This blocking valve has high operational reliability and it is readily made and installed. The blocking valve housing has a sliding pipe (5) for opening and closing the flow passage between the valve inlet and outlet. This pipe (5) has an end flange (8) with a seal sliding in the cylinder (9). The cylinder flow path is closed when the flange slides within the cylinder. This flow path is released when the flange emerges from the cylinder in its lower end. The tube is actuated by its holding piston with diaphragm seals in the valve actuator housing.
