Production process for shoes - has upper joined to edge of inner sole and joint covered by trim

The process is for the manufacture of shoes. The lower edge of the upper (1) is joined to the peripheral edge of the inner sole (2), by stitching (5) them together with the edges extending outwards. These edges are then covered by a trim (3) shaped like a C open towards the interior which is sewn in position (6), through all the layers. The outer sole (4) is then fixed directly to the inner sole by bonding.
