ROTARY ARMATURE TYPE ELECTROMAGNET

PURPOSE:To prevent irregular armature stroke of the rotary armature type electromagnet by pivotally supporting the armature through a projection formed on the inner wall surface of a coil bobbin and forming a slight gap between the projection and its confronting surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:There are provided the armature 2 pivotally supported at the center within the coil bobbin 1, and two U-shaped yokes 4, 5 so disposed at the center as to be bridged by a permanent magnet 3 and as to confront both the polarized surfaces thereof with the end side surface of the armature 2. When a coil 6 wound on the bobbin 1 is energized, the armature 2 is rotated to bring both the end side surfaces of the armature 2 into contact with the one end of one yoke 4 and the other end of other yoke 5. The pivotal portion of the armatue 2 is formed on a projection B formed on both side surfaces of the armature 2 or on both side surfaces of the bobbin 1 with a slight gap D formed between the projection B and the confronting surface thereof so as to prevent irregular stroke of the armature 2 to reduce the irregular properties of the product.
