PURPOSE:To improve operability by generating a warning of erroneous operation when a frame or subject mark which is inputted with register keys and is to be retrieved coincides with a frame or subject mark which has beeing counted, inputted, and stored. CONSTITUTION:A frame or subject mark to be retrieved is inputted on a ten key and then stored in a register 101. A counter 100, on the other hand, counts frame or subject marks to stores the result. The numeral of the register 101 is compared with the numeral of the counter 100 by a comparator 103 and when the both coincide with each other, a signal goes up to H and an output EQ is supplied to one input of an AND circuit 104. With a search key 16, a retrieval signal SK for a microfilm is inputted to the AND circuit 104 with the level H, and then the AND circuit 104 generates a H-level output to supply an erroneous operation signal SMISS to a timer 105, thereby putting a buzzer 107 in operation through a TRL06. Thus, operability is improved. |
