PURPOSE:To eliminate the waste of a memory which stores microinstruction by processing the software instructions after dividing them into the 1st instruction group which is suited to use a horizontal microinstruction and the 2nd instruction group which is not suited to said microinstruction. CONSTITUTION:The software instructions stored in a main memory 1 contain the 1st software instruction group of horizontal type and the vertical 2nd software instruction group. A part or whole of instruction functions of the 2nd hardware instruction group executes an optional one of plural instruction programs produced from the 1st software instruction group. In this case, the 2nd soft visible register included in an arithmetic circuit 2 is used to execute processing. When other programs are executed, the 1st visible register in the circuit 2 is used to execute processing. |
