PURPOSE:To completely, simply make a battery waterproof by completely covering in liquidtightness a secondary battery for operating a small electrical equipment with a resin film which is easily broken by gas pressure accumulated from the battery during its life period. CONSTITUTION:A multi-battery 15 assembled with plural unit cells 15a is used as a power source of a small electrical equipment which is usually operated by small power and requires waterproofness. A resin film 18 which completely covers the battery 15 in liquidtightness is designed to be broken by gas pressure accumulated from the battery during its life period. For example, the resin film 18 is made of urethane resin having a mean thickness of 5mm, and connection surfaces 20 are formed between the film 18 and spacers 19, and the connection surfaces 20 are designed to be easily broken. The battery is simply and surely made waterproof during its life period without installing a safety valve. |
