PURPOSE:To obtain a sufficient destaticizing effect by providing a temp. sensor, a control section which changes the light emission duty of a light emitting diode and a light emitting diode driving circuit. CONSTITUTION:The temp. sensor 1 is mounted near the surface of a photosensitive drum 5 and the control section 2 determines the light emission duty of the light emitting diode 4 by the input form the temp. sensor 1 and outputs the same to the light emitting diode driving circuit 3. The circuit 3 drives the diode 4 in accordance with the light emission duty signal from the control section 2. The control section 2 increases the light emission duty and outputs the signal to the circuit 3 upon detection of the temp. level from the sensor 1, thereby increasing the photoirradiation quantity of the diode 4. The sufficient destaticizing effect is, therefore, obtd. even if the photosensitivity of the photosensitive drum 5 lowers on lowering of the ambient temp. |
