<p>PURPOSE:To intend higher-speed sheet sorting and storing treatment and keep good alignment of recording sheets in bin trays by aligning a group of the recording sheets in sorting numbers as if the alignment of the recording sheets would be performed in every bin tray. CONSTITUTION:Recording sheets 4(1) for the first original are carried to a sheet sorting stage S1, sorted and stored in bin trays 6 in sequence. A tamper 7a is on standby at a position apart therefrom until the sheet 4(1) is stored in the final bin tray 6(n), and put in contact with out edge of the sheet 4(1) on completion of sorting to align the storage position. Next, recording sheets 4(2) are carried to the stage S1, sorted and stored in the bin trays 6 which are lowered in pitches, in sequence. The tamper 7a aligns the storage position of the sheets 4(2) in the same way as the above. Since then, every time the sorting treatment of recording sheets for the third original and later on is completed for each of originals sheet alignment is performed by a sheet alignment means 7.</p> |
