The subject of the present invention is a washing line. It consists of a rope, wire (1) or cable, the external surface of which is provided, over its entire length, with small spikes (2) made of a plastic which is rigid enough to penetrate into the fabric, between the fibres, and flexible enough not to damage the said fabric when it is removed from the line after drying. It is intended to be used alone or for equipping dryers (airers) of all types. <IMAGE>
