PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric element has a high dielectric constant and a high electromechanical coefficient. SOLUTION: A glass content in an electrode layer 22 formed on a piezoelectric material 21 of single-crystal perovskite compound of Pb[(B1, B2)1-x Tix ]O3 (where, x=0-0.55, B1 is at least one selected from the group of Zn, Ni, Mg, Sc, In and Yb, and B2 is at least one selected from the group of Nb and Ta) is set in a range of 0.01-5wt.%. Thereby there can be obtained a piezoelectric element which is high in both dielectric constant and electromechanical coefficient. |
