Hydra head activator binding protein

摘要

A head activator binding protein isolated from Chlorohydra viridissima by chromatographic methods is new. Also claimed are (1) a screening assay for agonists or antagonists comprising determining the binding properties of candidate substances with the above protein; (2) an active substance obtained by such an assay; (3) cDNA with a defined sequence of 5839 bp coding for the above protein; and (4) head activator binding protein fragments with 11 defined amino acid sequences given in the specification.
