PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unconvenience where a needle thread passing through another needle slips out and relaxes from occurring by making surely only the needle thread slip out when the surrounding of the end part of the needle thread slips out from a needle thread stocker. SOLUTION: A needle thread stocker 20 is provided on a thread holding apron 7 of an embroidery head 1 to hook and stock the surrounding 8a of the end part of a needle thread 8 in such a way that the needle thread 8 passing through a needle 5 is not hung down on a processing fabric when the needle 5 starts embroidery sewing. The same number of thread holding devices 10 as those of the needles 5 provided in a thread holding apron 7 are utilized and a press body 21 for pinching and stocking the surrounding 8a of the end part of the needle thread 8 between the front face of the thread holding apron is fitted on the front end of a driving pin 11 moving back and forth with a movable holding piece 13 of the thread holding device 10.
