PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject seedling-loading stage capable of setting a rolled seedling mat efficiently with one person by holding a pivoting member for pivoting the seedling mat with a specific method at a prescribed position. SOLUTION: This seedling-loading stage in a rice transplanter is provided by installing a pivoting member 44 for pivoting a seedling mat 40 wound as a rolled state at the seedling-loading stage 20, joining the pivoting member 44 with a joining member 47, and also joining the joining member 47 with the above seedling-loading stage 20 with a joining body 50 to hold the pivoting member 44 at a prescribed position. In this case, the above joining body 50 is preferably joined with a reinforcing member 48 of the seedling-loading stage or a supplemental seedling-loading stage 52. The seedling mat 40 is cultured by sowing seeds on a paper dissolvable to a fertilizer and rising the seedling by a water culture and formed as a long belt shape by an intertwining of their roots, and since no soil is attached thereto, the seedlings can be formed as thin thickness and light weight so as to be wound in a rolled state.
