PURPOSE:To make a time lug suitable at a proper position between rotational torque transmission and cutting thereof by providing an outer wheel, an intermediate wheel, and a roller, by inserting the intermediate wheel into the outer wheel in such a way that the intermediate wheel can oscillate, and by providing a space between each engagement part of adjacent intermediate wheels, along the circumference. CONSTITUTION:An engaging part 2b is formed by bending the component part of a clutch surface 2a of an intermediate wheel 2, outward, while an engaged groove 1a of an outer wheel 1 is formed correspondent to the engaging part 2b, and a space 7 is provided between the engaged groove 1a and the engaging part 2b, along the circumference. When a rotational shaft 6 is rotated right, a roller 3 is moved right on the outer peripheral surface of an inner wheel 5, and is separated from a wedge space, so as to make the rotational shaft 6 free. At the time, the intermediate wheel 2 is oscillated right by the movement of the roller 3, and the engaging part 2b is engaged with the engaged groove 1a. When the rotational shaft 6 is rotated left, the roller 3 is rotated left on the outer peripheral surface of the rotational shaft 6, and on a spring 4b, and is engaged with the wedge space, so as to fix the rotational shaft 6. The intermediate wheel 2 is oscillated following the movement of the roller 3, by the space 7 in the left hand side rotational direction, and the engaging part 2b is thus engaged with the engaged groove 1a. |
