PURPOSE: An apparatus for generating time-shifted PN states is provided to make the present PN state and a time-shifted PN state every clock by adding a simple circuit for an existing PN mask system in a PN code generator having an LFSR(Linear Feedback Shift Register) structure. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for generating time-shifted PN states is comprised of a PN code generator(100), an extended PN code generation circuit part(200), and a PN mask transmitter(300). The PN code generator(100) generates an N-bit PN code. The extended PN code generation circuit part(200), receiving the PN code outputted from the PN code generator(100), makes the PN states corresponding to time offset values from the first layer to the (N-1)th layer. The PN mask transmitter(300), receiving the output signals of the PN code generator(100) and the extended PN code generation circuit part(200), generates a time-shifted PN state through N-bit PN masking.
