摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake device having excellent braking effect, improved in response to release brake, and capable of preventing lowering of response even if a brake member is worn. <P>SOLUTION: When braking, an electric motor rotates a nut 6 of a ball screw mechanism to move a screw shaft 8 forward, and a projecting shaft 14 energized by pushing to a base end side by a compression coil spring 18 is rotated with the generation of looseness in a saw-tooth screw having a large lead angleα, and relatively moved with the screw shaft 8 toward the base end to abut on a stopper screw 19, and stretched to support the screw shaft 8 not to return backward. Even if the brake pads 3a and 3b are worn, a pushing member 9 is always retained near a pushing position to naturally secure responsiveness with excellent braking effect.
