OUTPUT CONTROLLER FOR COGENERATION PLANT

PURPOSE:To realize constant steam pressure control even upon abrupt variation of steam demand by controlling the output of a generating system upon variation of steam demand deviating from a predicted steam demand pattern thereby controlling production of steam in a waste heat recovery boiler. CONSTITUTION:Since instantaneous steam demand can not be filled with only an HRSG 7 upon abrupt variation of steam demand, an auxiliary boiler control circuit 23 determines the difference between a signal fed from a pressure control circuit 16 and a set pressure value, and a fuel valve 22 is controlled according to thus determined difference signal thus controlling the amount of steam to be produced from an auxiliary boiler 20 and feeding a heat supply system 13 with thus controlled amount of steam. The auxiliary boiler 20 has quick response and can deal with abrupt variation of steam demand, resulting in constant steam pressure control.
