<p>PURPOSE:To feed documents sheet one by one surely by the co-operation of a separation pad and a feed-in roller by converting the kinetic energy of a vigorously inserted document to the elastic energy to be absorbed. CONSTITUTION:When a vigorously inserted document P is brought into contact with a separation pad 71, the separation pad 71 is slid against the elastic urging force. Thus, the kinetic energy of the document P is elastically absorbed and the force is restrained while the document reaches a contacting surface between the separation pad 71 and the feed-in roller 1. Accordingly, a satisfactory separation function can be exhibited so as to increase a multi-feed preventing effect.</p> |
