FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, tobacco harvesting technique. ^ SUBSTANCE: tobacco harvesting combine has self-propelled chassis, leaf separating mechanism, outside conveyor, and hopper. Apparatus for separating of tobacco leaves into fraction is positioned immediately downstream of leaf separating mechanism and comprises conveyor closed contour with cells. Conveyor is movable along guides equipped with protrusion and adapted for retaining of whole leaves. Replaceable process container is positioned within conveyor closed contour and is designed for collecting of small-sized leaf fraction. After filling of container, it is withdrawn to be further utilized for drying of small-sized leaf fraction. Whole large-sized leaves are directed to hopper. ^ EFFECT: reduced unrecoverable loss of basic material during machine harvesting by collecting of leaf small-sized fraction, and elimination of manual sorting procedure. ^ 4 dwg |
