PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electrodeless discharge lamp of which the mechanical strength is improved, the electrodeless discharge lamp manufactured by the manufacturing method, and an illumination fixture using the electrodeless discharge lamp. SOLUTION: When a bulb 1 formed as a whole into a ring shape by two mutually parallel straight tube parts 11 and two bent parts 12 mutually coupling between the straight tube parts 11 is manufactured by bending a cylindrically shaped glass tube, tube diameters of the bent parts 12 are made smaller than those of the straight tube parts 11. By making walls on the outer peripheral side of the bent parts 12 thicker compared with a case that the tube diameters of the bent parts 12 are made equal to those of the straight tube parts 12, the mechanical strength can be improved.
