PURPOSE:To effectively lower an offensive smell level by washing exhaust gas in a washing tower according to a shower system and subsequently separating the mist component in the exhaust gas and spraying a deodorant to the exhaust gas reduced in the mist component. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas is washed with water in a washing tower 4 according to a shower system and the mist component in the exhaust gas is separated by a mist separator 5. The exhaust gas reduced in the mist component further flows through an exhaust passage 3 and passes through two contact tanks 7, 8 to go toward an exhaust tower 2. At this time, a plant essential oil type deodorant is sprayed to the exhaust gas reduced in the mist component from a nozzle 11. Therefore, the contact chance of the deodorant with an offensive smell component is markedly enhanced and the reaction of both of them is accelerated to markedly reduce an offensive smell level.
