A payment service providing system and method and a payment method in a payment server are provided to access the payment server by using a mobile communication terminal with a wireless Internet function, confirm details of demand for payment and perform payment when payment is demanded using a credit-card checker. A payment service providing system includes a mobile communication terminal(10) for transmitting payment related data and receiving data about details of payment, a credit-card checker(70) for transmitting payment request data to a user of the mobile communication terminal and receiving the data about details of payment, and a payment server(50) for performing payment based on the payment request data received from the credit-card checker and the payment related data received from the mobile communication terminal and transmitting the data about details of payment to the mobile communication terminal and the credit-card checker. |
